Bee Happy!

I have always had a liking for French Country things. For those of you who have similar taste, you will remember the classic French Country shop Pierre Deux, which sadly went bankrupt in 2011. I'm not sure of the history behind it, but the bumblebee has been a symbol frequently used in French Country decorating, as well as French Country accessories.

Here are a few French Country bumblebee things I would not mind having...

LOVE this Bumblebee Flatware...this needs to find its way to my kitchen drawer!

This Bumblebee Glassware needs to find its way into my cupboard!

French Country Bumblebee Napkin Rings
(Pintrest)

This Bumblebee Basket could be used for fire wood or magazines & newspapers.

This Bumblebee Guest Towel would look great in my new powder room.

Classy Bumblebee Notes...love the navy honeycomb envelope lining!

Love this Bumblebee Cache Pot...would love marvelous with a topiary in it!!!

What do you think about bumblebees?

I too love bumblebees. :) I have a set of glasses from Williams Sonoma on sale a few years ago. wish i'd bought more than 4. I think I've seen similar flatware at horchow (?) and if you wait til they have a super 40% off sale then its pretty reasonable ie "affordable" :)

I love bees! My Grandmother has a gold and diamond bumblebee brooch that she used to always wear on her shoulder...it was her signature piece. :) The French bee has something to do with Napoleon's crest. He is credited for making it symbolic of France.

XOXO,
The Glam Pad
