Regular Crazy Schedule + Being On Call For Work = Lack of Blog Posts
I just came off of being on call for the week at work...it's tough working a regular 40 hour work week and then being available 24/7 for admissions and attending deaths. Sometimes I have no calls at all...sometimes I am going out every night...this was a busy on call week.
On top of my busy week I was packing for the triplets and my trip to see my Michigan parents!
(view from my parents' back yard)
We arrived to a chilly (63 degrees yea!) and overcast Northport, Michigan yesterday and the weather was a welcome relief to the hot and humid Virginia summer!
I already finished one book!
I read "I'll See You Again" which I posted about here
Incredibly sad story with an almost voyeuristic peek into the author's journey through her grief, but truly inspirational and I could not put it down.
Here is the newest member of our family, Arlo!
Seen here with D's #3 and my #4, Arlo is an Austrailian Cattle Dog adopted by my Michigan parents. He is low key and very friendly.
Here are some pictures from my #1's birthday party last weekend...

It was a great night hosted by my Virginia parents....lots of laughter!
Today we are going raspberry picking and then triplets will be making homemade jam with grandma!
I will be starting my second book and catching up on a little blogging....and napping.
Tonight, my sister and BIL, as well as my brother, niece, and nephew will be coming for dinner...can't wait to see them!
Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

Enjoy your time in Michigan - it is chilly today :-)
Your parents' home in Michigan is a little slice of heaven! That view!!! And the weather!! Oh, how I would love a cool respite from steamy South Florida. I'm glad you were able to get away for some much deserved R&R. It looks like you had a lovely visit!
