This past weekend (Thursday thru Sunday) was the District Tournament for the All Star Baseball teams in our area. My #4 made the Rockville 12U All Star team this year, which happens to be comprised of almost all of the boys on his travel baseball team, the Rockville Rebels. It was one game Thursday, two games Friday, two games Saturday, and two games Sunday. All of the games were held in Spotsylvania, Virginia, which is about an hour away from home.
I'm happy to report that our team won the District Tournament, and we are off to the State Tournament in Arlington, Virginia in two weeks! It was hot, cold, rainy, muggy, and every other type of weather in-between. So proud of ALL of the boys! My #4 is a left handed pitcher, and pitched in three games. While my #3 did not make the All Star team, he was at every game tracking stats on his ipad and cheering the team on.
